A highly experienced, qualified commercial solicitor who specialises in end-to-end IT outsourcing and procurement, complex contracts, frameworks, commercial models, disputes, business strategy and risk management support. 

Between 2012 and 2014, Sophie advised on several major ICT procurements led by Essex County Council, including the successful Essex Superfast Rural Broadband (£26m) and Next Gen Networks (£81m) projects.  Sophie then acted for Central Government departments whist working at top public projects law firm Sharpe Pritchard on a range of ICT complex contracts and procurements.

After leading the growth of legal services to Government and Public Sector at PWC, Sophie now practices as an independent solicitor.  Sophie is currently supporting the Home Office on its Emergency Services Network (£1blln) project turnaround, working closely with the Cabinet Office Complex Transactions Team.

Sophie has developed key relationships with organisations such as the Big 4 consultancy firms, city/international law firms, Central Government departments, Local Government, the Emergency Services, tech suppliers and organisations such as TechUK, FSB and Law Society.  Sophie leverages her strong professional networks to continuously self-develop, ensure her practice is cutting edge and open to innovative opportunities for enhancing valued services to her clients, e.g. tech solutions which revolutionise non-contentious contract management.
